The United FA adult leagues (men’s and coed teams) will follow FIFA rules with the following exceptions: 

• No slide tackles (automatic yellow card)
• No Punting (throws are ok)
• No Offside
• No goal kicks past the half-line (throws can go as far as you want/can)
• Free Substitution is allowed.
• Kick-offs may go forward or backward.
• Yellow Card
  • 2 minute powerplay for the opponents,
  • Carries over to the next game
  • Game suspension possible if player gets a yellow card 2 games in a row
• Straight Red Card (must leave park immediately)
  • 2 game suspension
  • 2nd red card is removal from league

Who

Men and Women age 20 and older who: 

• Are interested in a chance to get exercise
• Are interested in keeping their soccer skills honed
• Are interested in having fun 

League Info

Info for all leagues:

• 7v7 format (minimum of 4 players to play)
• Team rosters will be printed before each Sunday. All players must be registered and paid.
  Guest players can be allowed to help teams when they have a low turnout, but they must be approved prior to game time.
• between 10-12 players
• Play will be on a U12 size field
• Registration
  • Captain registers first email Adult Soccer Coordinator the Roster
  • Team Captain (you already have a team of players) -- submit the team information/name on-line.
  • Players -- if registering for a team. Player must be pre-approved by Team Captain to be assigned to a specific team. Team Captain will provide players with a registration code to be placed on the appropriate team.
  • Players -- without a team. Please select "do not have a team." You will be placed on a team for league play.
  • Registration fee is $100/player for 7v7.
• Consistent referee
• 8-10 Weeks, including playoff
• Location: Polo Fields (6050 Majors Rd)
• Four 15-minute quarters
• Games are Sunday between 12-8

Co-Ed League

• Uniforms are the responsibility of the player, in coordination with the team captain.
• 30+ age males, 20+ age females
• 1 female on field at all times
• Female goals count as 2 points

Men’s League

• Uniforms are the responsibility of the player, in coordination with the team captain.
• Men must be at least 20 years old
• Play Two 35-minute halves

Ryan Shaw is the Adult Program Director and Partner in Education Liaison. Ryan also coaches the high school boys’ soccer team at Horizon Christian Academy and has assisted with both Varsity and Junior Varsity Boys Soccer teams at Forsyth Central High School since 2007.  Shaw recently graduated from American InterContinental University in Dunwoody where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Science. He is currently employed as a Crime Scene Investigator with the Gwinnett County Police Department.
