Technical Skills Training (TST)(Academy/Select U8 - U14)
Technical Skills Training is where the fundamentals of the game get sharp. Built around the 4 C's — Composure, Creativity, Confidence, and Competition — TST gives Academy and Select players U8-U14 a dedicated, weekly space to develop the technical foundation every position needs.
Over a full 10-week season, players work through first touch and ball control, passing and receiving, 1v1 attacking and defending, and combination play — building each skill in progression before putting it to the test in small-sided games. Sessions run in small groups (minimum 6 players) so every player gets real reps and real coaching attention, not just drills from the sideline.
Three sessions each season are Combined Sessions, bringing our Goal Keeper Academy players onto the field so TST players can finish against a live keeper instead of an open net — a small but meaningful step up in realism that carries over directly to game day.
